Before & After: A Bath in Blue

Project: An updated, streamlined approach was asked for in this bathroom in Chiswick with an emphasis on storage and making space.

The heated towel rail was lifted so as not to interfere with toilet users, a full countertop added under the window to box in all the gubbins and pipes on show beforehand, and a semi-recess sink was chosen to maximise space both on the countertop and the in cupboards below.

We added panelling to the bath in a deep blue (Dock Blue – Little Greene) to match in with the bespoke carpentry beneath the window. A mirrored wall cupboard solved the problem of mirror positioning over the sink whilst still providing an extra place to hide things away.

Just out of shot is a sleek, minimal bifold bath screen and gold wall fixed shower to match the sink taps. The patterned tiles (still a little dusty here as we hadn’t quite finished up) were a great addition to add some fun and trend led pattern to the space.
